Count my Blessings Watercolor Card, Holiday Catalog Now Live!

This is another beautiful stamp set in the Holiday Catalog. Its on page 50. My Stamp Club Gals will be making this one too! I’ve got a 1 3/4″ strip of the Painted Autumn Designer Series Paper on the left side. I stamped the flower image onto Watercolor Paper with Black Archival Ink twice, and cut one of each of the flowers out. This really makes the flowers pop. I water colored with my Aqua…

At Home With You

I made this card for a co-worker of my husbands. They just signed papers on their house, and I knew this would be the perfect stamp set to use. I asked hubby, what does their front door look like? What color is their door? Of course he couldn’t remember (he fixed their a/c), so I decided to go with the green brick (not sure why I chose green), using the Embossing Paste with Pear Pizzazz…

Pick a Pumpkin (Sneak Peek)

I know I have been MIA for quite a while. I was getting ready for a party for my husbands work, and then for my sister and her family to visit. The party is over, and my family is home now, insert sad face…… Ok, I have something new to show you today. I received my pre-order in between all the madness. I hope to have a video for you later today. I really love…

Big on Birthdays

It’s that time again, for the Stampin’ Up! Only Challenge. This week its Birthdays. My niece has a birthday this month. Perfect! I haven’t used the Big on Birthday stamp set much, so decided to dust it off and use it. I stamped the sentiment (& flowers) on Watercolor Paper with Black Archival Ink. I have to say I didn’t get a real good image and ended up using my Project Life Journaling Pens (they…

Beautiful Bouquet Anniversary Card

This bundle is FABULOUS! I cased this card from Pinterest. And since I was late for my Sister and Brother-in-law’s Anniversary it had to be a over the top card. I love that all the flowers and leaves have matching Framelits. I started off with a Tranquil Tide wash with my Aqua Painter. Then I stamped all my flowers and die cut them. Next  I started building my bouquet. Really this is a pretty simple…

Happy Birthday Gorgeous!

I LOVE the name of this stamp set, it coordinates with the Happy Birthday Thinlits and you can purchase as a bundle and save 10%. The Thinlits die cut so easily too.  I cased this card from Pinterest, changed it up a bit to make it my own. This is another card my Stamp Club Gals will be making next month. You can see I’ve done 3 cards using different colors from the Color Theory…

SUO, “Focus on Masculine”

Time for another Stampin’ Up! Challenge. You know how hard “man” cards are for me……But I had this idea in my head about making the pen have a wood looking barrel. Look what I came up with. I also haven’t played with this new paper, Wood Textures. Its perfect for “man” cards. This is a 6″ x 6″ Paper Stack available on June 1st, along with the Crafting Forever stamp set. I told you I…

Happy 8th Birthday Anthony!

As soon as I saw this set I knew I would be making my grandson a card for his birthday. This was such a fun shaker card to make for Anthony (my grandson). The look on his face when he opened the card was priceless. I stamped the monster onto Shimmer White Cardstock, which is a good alternative to Watercolor Paper. Then watercolored with Bermuda Bag and Basic Grey (for his pads). Used my Project…

Big On Birthdays

This was a fun Club Card we did this month. Pretty simple too! First we used the Pacific Point and Bermuda Bay Watercolor pencils and scribbled onto the Shimmery White cardstock. Took our Aqua Painter and blended the colors. Let that dry, then stamp the Happy Birthday with Black Archival Ink.  The Birthday Candles come from the Window Box Thinlits. There are 3 of the square dies, hearts, dots and candles. It was so easy…

Watercolored Beautiful You Note Card

The Beautiful You stamp set is a great way to get your “feet” wet using the Watercolor Pencils. I am taking an online class and learning so much. Stamp your girl onto Watercolor Paper with Black Archival ink (so it doesn’t smear). The one on the left I used Pacific Point and Bermuda Bay Watercolor Pencils. The right one I used Real Red and Calypso Coral. Did you notice how cute the “patterned” umbrellas are?…
