Carols of Christmas Meets, Foil Frenzy Specialty Designer Series Paper

Here are a few more of the cards Patty and I made last week. You can see Patty’s cards HERE! Our goal was to use the Foil Frenzy Specialty Designer Series Paper (say that fast 5 times), (dsp) with the Carols of Christmas. We also decided to use the Layering Circle, Ovals & Squares, with the Stitched Shapes Framelits. If you need some fast cards, these cards are for you. The Foil Frenzy dsp coordinates…

A Little Wild Bundle

This bundle is the cutest ever! The last time Patty and I stamped together, she brought all the stuff to make these adorable cards. I had not used this bundle. Plus we did some fun folds. Patty really rocks it when we get together. First up is this cute baby bear. The Lemon Lime Twist is embossed with the new Layered Leaves Embossing Folder. The bear is cut out using Watercolor Paper and colored with…

One in a Melon, Paper Pumpkin Alternative Blog Hop

I am excited to be part of the Paper Pumpkin Alternative Blog Hop again this month. The One in a Melon kit is one of my favorites. This is what I came up with. I will tell you, it was hard for me to cut apart one of the bags, but worth it for this card. Here is how I made the “watermelon” slice. Easy Peasy with your Layering Circles. Its important to add the…

Calming Colorful Seasons

Patty Bennett and I got together a couple of weeks ago and this is one of the cards Patty brought for us to make.  I love how the colors are so calming together. This is our color Pallet. Who knew Flirty Flamingo & Calypso Coral would look so great together. Using the largest circle on your Layering Circles Framelits, cut out of Thick Whisper White cardstock. You will use the negative to make your mask.…

Make a Medallion Thank You Card

This was supposed to be for the Color Fusion Blog Hop last week. Because of all my blog issues I wasn’t able to participate. I was really bummed. I even had my card ready a head of time….. This was an easy card to reproduce, and since I needed a bunch of thank you cards it worked out perfect. This was our color palette. Peekaboo Peach, Watermelon Wonder, Mint Macaron and Wild Wasabi. I love…

Basket of Flowers, Come on Spring!

Did you notice the Basket Bunch Stamp Set with matching Basket Builder Framelits on page 18 of the Occasions Catalog? Check out what I made. This makes a great “spring” card. First off I love the Petal Burst Embossing Folder. TIP: Use liquid glue to adhere when using any embossing folders. The liquid glue gets in all the nooks and crannies.  Then I used the Stitched Shapes to die cut the Circle from the Succulent…

Are You Ready to see Some New Products?

A couple of weeks ago I had the privilege of stamping with my two stamping friends in crime partners, Patty Bennett and Lisa Rhine. Lisa was so kind to host. These are all the cards we made between the 3 of us. Not bad for one days work! We used all NEW stamps and dies and I will be sharing these cards in the next couple of weeks. You can also see Patty and Lisa’s…

Halloween Z Fold Thank You Cards

How fun are these cards? I sent them out to some of my customers as thank you’s for their orders. Its called a “Z” Fold. I am trying to use up all of the Halloween Night Specialty Designer Series Paper BEFORE Halloween. Only have a few sheets left. There is two sheets of these scary houses, so I though why not cut them with the Layering Circles and add them to the front of my…

Stampin’ Up! Only Challenge, Holiday Papers

It’s Tuesday, so it must mean another challenge from the Stampin’ Up! Only Group. You can play along too: http://suochallenges.com/. This week the theme is Holiday Papers. The Candy Cane Lane Designer Series Paper is one of my favorites. I was inspired by Wendy Cranford’s “quilt” card she made last week (I think it was last week)…and what a great way to show off the different papers. I cut 15, 1″ squares in all the…
