Ok, how fun is this card? Its a card with a treat. I love our Treat Tubes, you can find them on page 53 of the Holiday Catalog. Painted Autumn, Some Scraps from my Work Space

As I was cleaning up my work space, I noticed these 4 or maybe even more little 1 1/2″ x 1 1/2″ squares. I thought I should use those in a card. If I put them back in with the other paper I will lose them. Why not just whip up a quick card? So that’s what I did. I mounted the 1 1/2″ squares onto a 3 1/2″ Very Vanilla square and then that…

Hello Fall, Pumpkin Latte

I so wished I liked coffee. I love the smell of coffee or walking into Starbucks, but I don’t like to drink it….. So the challenge for the SUO Challenge is Something Sweet. Is a Pumpkin Pie Latte Sweet? I’m thinking it is. I wanted to use a stamp set in the Holiday Catalog, So Merry Cafe it is. Plus I got to use my New Stampin’ Blends, and a fun fold all in one!…

Basket of Wishes, Featuring The New Stampin’ Blends

Great news! The Stampin’ Blends will be available to purchase on November 1st. Woohoo! They are amazing. I am by far, NOT a watercolor artist, but these babies make me feel like I am. Here is my amazing card. I can’t believe I’ve had the Basket of Wishes stamp set and not used it until this card. What was I thinking? But its the perfect stamp set to watercolor. Tip: When using the Blends, always…

Your Kindness Means so Much

It really does. I love when you leave me comments. I love the Sunflower framed like it is. This is one of the Note Cards we made on our Stampin’ Cruise. Jenn Gulch did a fantastic job on all the projects she had for us while we were out at sea. This is also the perfect card for the SUO Challenge, What is your favorite product from the Holiday Catalog? You know that I LOVE…

Acetate Treat Holders

I made a few of these treat holders. This one was for my friend Lynne. It was for her birthday. Have you seen the Acetate Card Boxes that are on page 13 of the Holiday Catalog? Did you know you can cut them to whatever size you need/want? That’s what I did for my treats. I ended up going to Cost Plus World Market for my treats. I wanted something a little different. Yes, they…

Another Hearts Come Home Card

If you saw my blog post yesterday, you know we used the same stamp set. This time we took it up a notch. We’ve got a Dapper Denim card base and added a few more details. First you will need to sponge the top of the card with Dapper Denim Ink and a sponge. Kind of gives it a Ombre look. The Snowflakes are from the Swirly Snowflakes Thinlits. After die cutting them with Shimmery…

Painted Harvest CASE (Copy & share everything)

I received the card on the right from Patty Bennett. She sends cards to all top 15 in her downline for sales. I needed one more card for my Card Class last week and thought, hmmmmm, I’m going to case Patty. I changed a couple of things, but the layout is basically the same. I loved how Patty used the “burlap” stamp, it gives the card a lot of texture without all the bulk. So…

Painted Harvest, Patty’s Way

Isn’t this card beautiful? This one was designed by Patty. Its got 6 layers but still a simple design. We started off with a Whisper White card base (you could use the new Thick Very Vanilla too). The flowers were stamped on Whisper White using Daffodil Delight for the first color, then Crushed Curry to add the highlights. The inside of the flowers are Early Espresso as well as the sentiment. We fussy cut the…
