Happy Birthday Jocelyn!

October 1st was my oldest granddaughter’s birthday. Where has the time gone? I love to take my grandkids out to lunch and shopping for their birthdays. They love it too, because no brother or sister, just her. Jocelyn wanted to go to Panera’s for lunch and get her favorite, Broccoli Cheddar Soup in a bread bowl. This is the card I made for her. I love this technique.  I adhered the Whisper White piece down…

Painted Harvest, Patty’s Way

Isn’t this card beautiful? This one was designed by Patty. Its got 6 layers but still a simple design. We started off with a Whisper White card base (you could use the new Thick Very Vanilla too). The flowers were stamped on Whisper White using Daffodil Delight for the first color, then Crushed Curry to add the highlights. The inside of the flowers are Early Espresso as well as the sentiment. We fussy cut the…

I haven’t used the Big on Birthday stamp set much, so decided to dust it off and use it. I stamped the sentiment (& flowers) on Watercolor Paper with Black Archival Ink. I have to say I didn’t get a real good image and ended up using my Project Life Journaling Pens (they…
