Wedding Card, a Little New, a Little Old

My Son and his fiance are getting married in Las Vegas on Saturday. This is the card I made for them. Their colors are Real Red & Very Vanilla. I added just a “splash” of red to the Gold Metalic-Edge Ribbon. I love the sentiment in the Cheers to the Year stamp set which is on page 37 of the Holiday Catalog. It pretty much sealed the deal, if you know what I mean. It…

Count my Blessings Watercolor Card, Holiday Catalog Now Live!

This is another beautiful stamp set in the Holiday Catalog. Its on page 50. My Stamp Club Gals will be making this one too! I’ve got a 1 3/4″ strip of the Painted Autumn Designer Series Paper on the left side. I stamped the flower image onto Watercolor Paper with Black Archival Ink twice, and cut one of each of the flowers out. This really makes the flowers pop. I water colored with my Aqua…

Simple Painted Harvest Card

This is another card we will make in my Stamp Club Class on September 5th. The Painted Harvest stamp set is amazing to use. Its a two step stamp. My first layer is Daffodil Delight, then Crushed Curry. The center of the flower is Soft Suede. You will notice that I’m only stamping half of the flower. Start in the center and then do the one on top and bottom. Mine aren’t perfectly centered, but…

Blast from the Past, SUO Challenge

So this weeks challenge is a blast from the past. I don’t save many retired stamps, but I did happen to save this one back from 2004. The name of the set is Hope Is….. I have a special person I am going to send this to who is going having a lot of medical issues between herself and her son. I am blending some new with the old. My card base and first layer…

Wedding Invitations

My son and his fiance are getting married next month. They asked me if I would make their invitations, so I put a few different ideas together and let them choose. This is the one these chose. Unfortunately most of these stamps and dies are discontinued, they were current when I designed them. Just didn’t want to share until I knew everyone received their invites. I only needed to make up 15, but my Big…

How About a Gift Tag?

I hope you aren’t getting tired of all my Coffee Cafe posts. I think this is the last of them for a while. Use the either the large or smaller cup from the Coffee Cafe Framelits, to make your tag.  When I was making up my samples for our Luv2stamp meeting, I decided to see if I could make up some tags with these dies, and it totally worked. Score! I found these Via Instant…

Happy Birthday Gorgeous!

I LOVE the name of this stamp set, it coordinates with the Happy Birthday Thinlits and you can purchase as a bundle and save 10%. The Thinlits die cut so easily too.  I cased this card from Pinterest, changed it up a bit to make it my own. This is another card my Stamp Club Gals will be making next month. You can see I’ve done 3 cards using different colors from the Color Theory…

Dragonfly Dreams Bundle

Is one of my favorites, so glad it made it into the new 2017-2018 Catalog. I originally made these for swaps at OnStage San Diego, then I showed them to my Stamp Club Gals and they want to make them next month. I started off with a Flirty Flamingo card base. I stamped the bigger dots at an angle a couple of times without adding more ink. The smaller dots are from Gorgeous Grunge (this…

High Tide Lighthouse Card

Patty and I were at it again! Last week we got together and this is one of the cards we stamped. This was yet another stamp set I DIDN’T need……..yeah right! LOL! Of course I need it now…… We started off with a large piece of Watercolor Paper. Big enough for Clear Block E to fit on with some room on all four sides. Then you can cut it down to the size you want.…

Dragonfly Dreams Friend Card

Can you believe how beautiful the Cupcakes and Carousels Designer Series Paper is? This is another Patty Bennett creation. She also used the Cupcakes and Carousels Embellishment Kit. Not many supplies are needed for this card because of this fabulous kit. The tag, Ombre ribbon are in the kit. Stampin’ Up! we NEED/WANT some of that Ombre Ribbon. When you pair that kit with the designer paper and the Dragonfly Dreams Bundle, (stamp set and…
