Team Meeting Featuring the Magnolia Lane Suite

Saturday we had or Team Meeting. It was a fun day of stamping with some new products. Magnolia Lane is a Suite of products from the new 2019-2020 Annual Catalog. Because I went to OnStage earlier this month we (all that attended) could pre-order a limited number of products from  the new catalog. We could order everything except the Magnolia 3D Embossing Folder and the So Saffron Stampin’ Blends. This is a beautiful suite. Wait until you see what we created. First a few photos of my team.

Laurie, Becky & Carol

Carol with her purse.

Laurie with her purse.

Becky concentrating getting layers just right on her card.

These purses hold 4 cards and 4 envelopes, with room for more. The original purse pattern is from Erica Cerwin. Make sure you look at my whole post, see how you can receive a purse kit for FREE.

These are the cards we made to go inside the purse.

In this suite there are dies to make this flower. So easy to put together.

Magnolia Lane Cork Embellishments. We embossed the Hello with White Embossing Powder.

Used the Stitched Rectangles to make the frame. Leaf and flower are die cut from the Magnolia Suit.

This card uses the Stitched Nested Labels.

For this card we used the new Perennial Essence Vellum. There is a die in the Magnolia Suite that die cuts that bottom edge.

The next two cards are too big to fit inside the purse. They are the Magnolia Lane Large Specialty Memories & More Cards & Envelopes (say that fast 3 times…). That Vellum piece is from the Magnolia Lane Memories & More Card Pack. There is several different pieces in the package. Wondering how we adhered the Vellum? Use Snail to adhere the flower to the Vellum first. Then add snail to the back of the Vellum just where the flower is. This way there is no adhesive is showing.

For this card we used the Stamparatus to stamp these images with Memento Black Ink. These cards and envelopes are made from Kraft paper and have a totally different feel than our cardstock. We used a White Watercolor Pencil to color in the flowers, Old Olive for the leaves. Once everything was colored we took an Aqua Painter and smoothed out all of the pencil lines. These cards come with matching envelopes with liners.

I felt that since we got the card base wet (with the Aqua Painter) it needed a little bit more stability, so we added a piece of Whisper White to both of the insides.

Now, the only way to get your hands on these products before June 4th is to join my team. The regular pre-order starts (for all demos who didn’t go to OnStage) May 2nd. Contact me if you would like to join. I’m happy to help or answer any questions you might have.
