The challenge is “Cute & Cuddly”. I thought the Pretty Kitty was purrfect, (get it? LOL). You can play along too: http://suochallenges.com/ This card is for my niece who has a birthday next week.
I used my Aqua Painter to color in the kitty and flowers onto Shimmery White cardstock. Did you know Shimmery White cardstock is the next best thing to Water Color Paper? It doesn’t pill like Whisper White and its shimmery.
The kitty & Flowers were stamped with Basic Grey Ink. The flowers are colored in with Sweet Sugarplum and Rich Razzleberry. I first used the Mint Macaron and my Aqua Painter to color in the grass and then took my sponge to fill in a little more. Then sponged Pool Party for the sky.
I know you can’t see much of it, but I used the Blooms & Bliss Designer Series Paper. I need to use this more, so pretty. The circle is 2 1/4″ and I used my Layering Circles to die cut. Almost forgot the butterfly, its the Bitty Butterfly Punch, I used a scrap of Island Indigo and added a few Rhinestones.
Pretty Color Combo, don’t you think? I also used the stamp, #imbringingbirthdaysback stamp on the back of my card and on the envelope.
