How is this for a spring card? You could even make this an Easter card.
To start you need a 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ Highland Heather cardstock base. Next is a 2 3/4″ x 5 1/2″ Whisper White, and a Flirty Flamingo piece cut at, 2 7/8″ x 5 1/2″.
Now lets get your stamps to punch out perfectly:
I first stamped the flowers in Flirty Flamingo, Gorgeous Grape & Daffodil Delight Ink. Then I went back and added the stems & leaves in Granny Apple Green. I wanted the large tulips to have some dimension…you know that extra piece you punched? That is going to be the layer that goes on the left side of your tulips. Just add a couple of Dimensionals and adhere to the left side of the large tulips.
I used the butterfly from Positive Thoughts and the die from Nature’s Thoughts. The dies are part of the Coordination Product Release that starts TODAY! The sentiment is from the Timeless Tulips stamp set. I stamped it in Memento Black Ink.
For the inside I grabbed another Stitched So Sweetly Whisper White piece, (the largest die). I just can’t get enough of these dies. You’ve probably noticed that I’ve used them on almost all of my cards. LOL I stamped the smaller tulips in Gorgeous Grape Ink and added the stem and leaves in Granny Apple Green. There is still enough room to write a message and sign your name.
This is another card my Stamp Club Gals will do this week, (in fact tonight). Hope they like it.
Supply List: I forgot to add the Stitched So Sweetly dies, #151690, $32.
