Vintage Leaves Meets Suite Seasons

I was inspired by a card I saw on Kimberly Van Diepen’s Blog today. My card uses different colors, but the layout is the same.

I first stamped the leaves with Soft Suede onto Crumb Cake cardstock, then sponged the edges with, Rich Razzleberry, Pumpkin Pie and Old Olive. These seem to be my “go to” fall colors.  Gold Wink of Stella was used on all the highlights of the leaves. Makes them just sparkle. Added some Snail on the back of each leaf and used some of the Copper Metallic Thread. Finished the leaves off with a Burlap Ribbon bow. We will be making this card in my Holiday Card Class on the 8th.

Can you see the sparkle? Love it!

Color combo.

To make the splash of color I used Pumpkin Pie Ink, just swirl it on your card front with a sponge or a dauber. Keep adding color until you are happy with the intensity. The leaf will cover the center. Add your strip of Pumpkin Pie Glimmer Paper and stamp your sentiment in Soft Suede, then your leaf with dimensionals.

Last thing I did was add some splatters of Gold Wink of Stella. I really love how this turned out. These might also be my thank you’s for next month.
