Yes, Its That Time Again, Stampin’ Up! Only Challenge

This week its all about Thanks and Thanksgiving. I loved this weeks challenge. Fall and leaves is the first thing that comes to mind. You can play along too:

I used the Totally Trees Stamp set, which I have to say, is becoming one of my favorites. When the Holiday Catalog first came out, I told myself, well I don’t really like this set. I was so wrong, its perfect for fall cards. I used the leaf stamp and Versamark Ink to stamp, then heat embossed with Clear Embossing Powder. Using Old Olive, Pumpkin Pie and Rich Razzleberry Ink and a sponge, I sponged on the Very Vanilla cardstock, over the entire piece. Blending in each color, then take a tissue or paper towel and wipe off excess ink. These colors are so rich together. I did have a hard time getting a good photo. I think its because of the Gold Foil Paper.

Here is the inside. I stamped the leaves in all three colors and added the sentiment. I also sponged with Rich Razzleberry (very lightly).

I added the 1/4″ Gold Natural Trim Ribbon and adhered to the Gold Foil layer, then the Rich Razzleberry card base. The sentiment has half a Gold Foil Doily attached to it and Dimensionals to pop it up. The final touch was a few of the Gold Enamel Shapes.

Don’t forget you can play too:
